For almost 15 years, this web server has been promoting communication about geostatistics and spatial statistics (GIS, geostatistics, point statistics, lattice statistics, geoinformatics, sampling strategies,...) between people working in many different fields. As of October 2008, more than 600 people from around 100 countries have joined the mailing list which makes it the biggest list about spatial statistics.
