| FUNCTIONS | CS22 includes new connectivity indices (integral index of connectivity, probability of connectivity). The indices are particularly suited for landscape conservation planning applications. These indices are based on graph structures and on the habitat availability concept, which consists in considering a patch itself as a space where connectivity occurs, integrating habitat patch area (or other patch attributes like habitat quality) and connections between different patches in a single measure. |
