These sessions will explore the development of GIS and Remote Sensing techniques in the ten year period since the 'Spatial Analysis for Remote Sensing and GIS' meeting held in Southampton in 1996, which formed the basis for the popular edited volume by P. Atkinson and N. Tate (1999), 'Advances in Remote Sensing and GIS Analysis'. Papers will be considered for publication in a contemporary version of Advances in Remote Sensing and GIS Analysis.
